Ingredients and Substitutions
- Shrimp: This recipes uses smaller deveined shrimp with the tail off to make for easier eating.
- Spices: To get tons of flavor on the shrimp I used my own mix of spices to create smokey flavor. I combine garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper and chili powder.
- Cabbage: I thinly sliced green cabbage but you could swap for red cabbage or do a mix of both.
- Tortillas: This recipe uses street taco sized corn tortillas but you could swap for flour.
- Toppings: These tacos are great because they’re completely customizable. I love cojita cheese and a squeeze of lime on my tacos but you could add cilantro, tomato, and radishes.
