Bacon Egg Bites

This baked egg bites recipe is an easier version of the egg bites made popular by a famous chain coffeehouse. No need for a blender or a sous vide to make these!

Ingredients and Substitiutions

Here’s what you’ll need to make this recipe:

  • Eggs, of course! 6 large eggs do the trick.
  • Heavy cream – The secret ingredient! It gives this recipe an AMAZING creamy taste.
  • Protein – My recipe loads up on bacon but you can choose to swap out any other protein or leave it out altogether
  • Veggies – This recipe is customizable so you can add any veggies to your egg bites that you like!
  • Green onions – I use these for flavor and a pop of color.
  • Seasonings – Don’t forget your seasoning! Season how you would your normal morning eggs.

  1. Preparation

    Preheat oven to 300 F and grease a nonstick muffin tin

    Cook all of your bacon, drain, chop and set aside

    Chop your green onions and set aside with your bacon

     

  1. Combine and Cook

    Crack your eggs into a large mixing bowl.

    Add your seasonings, heavy cream, melted butter, bacon and green onion. Wish together until smooth.

    Carefully ladle your egg mixture into your muffin tin and bake for 24 minutes or until light and airy.
